Beihai Restaurant opened in February 1995. The restaurant is named Beihai, and as the name suggests, its dishes are naturally based on Beijing cuisine. What is Beijing cuisine? For centuries, Beijing has always been a place where various ethnic groups live together. Therefore, Beijing cuisine is a combination of Shandong cuisine that suits the tastes of Beijingers, Halal cuisine based on beef and mutton, and palace cuisine of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. In addition, we should also classify several dishes that originated in Fujian, Guangdong, Sichuan and other places into Beijing cuisine. After more than ten years of operation, on the basis of inheriting and carrying forward Beijing cuisine, we have broken away from tradition and authenticity, in line with the tenets of high quality, low price and large quantity. Flavor Menu Beihai Restaurant has two sets of menus, one is "American-style Chinese food", which can be chosen by customers with various cultural backgrounds. Representatives include tangerine peel beef, left rooster, Hunan beef, fuyong egg, stir-fried chop suey, etc. The other menu is more authentic Chinese food with Chinese taste. The dishes at Beihai Restaurant can be divided into three categories: meat dishes, pastries and heavy-flavored dishes: The more distinctive meats include: braised hoof pound, braised pork with pickled vegetables, Beijing braised pork, casserole lion head, Yuanbao tenderloin, beef stir-fried with green onions, mutton, etc. The pastries include: leek noodles, beef patties, sesame-fermented flatbreads, pickled pork buns, braised noodles, fried noodles, etc. What is more "Beihai" characteristic is the hand-cut noodles.
