Staff Accountant

Who we’re seeking: You are a dependable and reliable professional, capable of fulfilling responsibilities with strong work ethics. You also possess solid problem solving and bilingual (English and Mandarin) communication skills, providing financial, administrative and clerical support in an efficient, timely and accurate manner to the company’s growth. Key responsibilities: Maintain accurate general ledger accounts. Review, process, gather, and compile accounting transactions and documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance. Contribute to development of analyses to be used for key activities or decision making. Perform accounting activities related to inventory. This includes reviewing freight and purchase price variance analysis. Performs analyses related to cost of goods, and gross profit reconciliation. Prepare monthly journal entries in support of month-end / year-end close and issue financial statements. Performs balance sheet reconciliations as well as prepare audit schedules and various tax filings. Manage the A/R and A/P processes and payments. Manage bank transactions and keep company accounts up to date inside of Quickbooks. Prepare of tax returns. Prepare monthly financial statements for the executive team and investors. Perform U.S. headquarter’s accounting practice mainly, while collaborating with China office and accountant on China business.
