Law Office of Xiaoyong Luan Esq. holds an internship program. The candidate must speak fluent Mandarin and English, and have strong research and writing skills and an interest in law. Intern will gain experience in all aspects of defense practice, and will work under attorney''s supervision. Intern will receive training in 1) initially evaluating all type of immigration, criminal and some civil cases, 2) writing correspondence and legal motions, 3) completing immigration and other legal applications, 4) interviewing clients, going to court, 5) assisting in analyzing and investigating criminal, civil and immigration cases in preparation for trial. A strong letter of recommendation will be provided upon successful completion of internship. The position is unpaid but may lead to a permanent paid position for the right candidate.
