Recruitment position: Pharmacy Assistant (full-time) Work location: San Leandro Salary range: $18.00 - $20.00/hour * Assist pharmacists in dispensing and managing drug inventory * Prepare and package drugs for patients * Maintain patient files and prescription information * Answer phone calls and answer related inquiries from patients and medical staff * Deliver drugs to patients' homes or locations * Candidates with pharmacy or medical-related work experience are preferred * Fluent in English and Mandarin, Cantonese is preferred * Familiar with medical terminology and drug use knowledge * Understand sterile operation and safe drug handling procedures * Able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and have good time management skills * Pay attention to details and be good at record keeping * Have good communication and expression skills (written and oral) * Be a team player and be able to work effectively with the medical team * Accept flexible work schedules, including working on weekends and holidays. As needed, some weekends or holidays are required.
