About

Tēo (潮) is derived from the name of the place where our cuisine originates. Teo Chew (潮州), also known as Chiu Chow or Chaozhou, is a small area in Southern China's Guangdong Province. It has over 2000 years of wonderful history, and we celebrate this history by telling the stories and legends of Teo Chew through the many delicacies to be found there. Tēo Restaurant & Bar (金潮轩) advocates green and healthy eating by creating delicious natural, fresh, and nutritionally-balanced dishes with traditional cooking methods. At Tēo, we are excited to bring the authentic hometown cuisine of our great city to the great city of San Francisco.
