California Institute of Technology is seeking an Admissions Counselor. California Institute of Technology is currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Admissions Counselor. As a key member of the admissions team, you will actively participate in high school visits and college fairs, build and maintain relationships with advisors, communicate regularly with prospective students and applicants, and participate in various campus admissions events. Additionally, this position will be responsible for developing and implementing programs to recruit minority students and contribute to the diversity of the University's admissions efforts. We are looking for candidates with excellent writing and public speaking skills, attention to detail, a commitment to teamwork, and the ability to independently manage the entire admissions process from prospective to admitted students. Candidates must possess excellent multi-tasking skills, good time management and organizational skills. Expect extensive travel in Allegheny, Armstrong, Butler and Westmoreland counties, as well as some evening and weekend duties. The ideal candidate will have experience using Slate CRM and PeopleSoft SIS systems and the ability to deliver engaging presentations to teens and young adults. Candidates with a bachelor's degree or higher and one year of relevant work experience or equivalent education and work experience are generally required.
