Description
The West Coast Travel Network recommends Highway 1 for travel. Highway 1 is the most beautiful, shortest and safest route in the West. Of course, it may also be the most crowded one. The editor provides several route references for your self-driving tour in the West. West American Tourist Route 1: Classic Pacific Highway 1: San Francisco-Los Angeles Highway 1, also called Pacific Coast Highway, is the most famous highway on the west coast of the United States and even in the United States. Highway 1 is built along the vast Pacific Ocean, extending from northern California to the U.S.-Mexico border. It is a beautiful coastal highway, and the section from San Francisco to Los Angeles is the most scenic. West American Travel Route 2: South American Culture Exploration: Santiago - San Ysidro The distance from San Diego to San Ysidro is not far. It only takes half an hour to get there without stopping. It is recommended to drive around San Diego and its surroundings before heading to the US-Mexico border. The San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld, Balboa Park, and the Old Town are all worth seeing, and the surrounding La Jolla Beach is a seal habitat. You can see groups of seals playing on the beach. It has towering sea cliffs and natural winding seaside caves, and the natural scenery is unique. The hotel on the Coronado Peninsula was the first five-star hotel in the United States. With a red roof, white walls, and an all-wooden structure, it has witnessed countless romantic love performances over the past century. West America Tour Route 3: Tour of the Bustling Twin Cities: Los Angeles - Joshua Tree National Park - Palm Springs. If you are interested in national parks and the natural scenery of the West, it is recommended to start from Los Angeles and drive east along Highway 10 to Joshua Tree National Park. You will find that the further east you drive, the fewer and fewer people there are, and the landscape becomes more and more desolate until you break into the desert. West American Tourist Route 4: Meet the Fog City: San Francisco-Seattle. Starting from San Francisco, heading south will reveal the vast scenery of the West, while heading north along Highway 1 will reveal endless seaside and forest scenery. If you like the hazy seascape like wind, rain and fog, you must experience it on the road trip from San Francisco north to Seattle. You will pass through several national forest parks along the way, and the most well-known is the Redwood National Forest, where 45% of the redwoods in California grow. These original towering redwoods have hundreds of thousands of years of history. The tallest trees are over 100 meters tall, the thickest trees cannot be hugged by more than a dozen people, and some trees can even allow cars to pass through.
