A complete list of tourist attractions in the UK. See the beauty of the Empire on which the sun never sets. As a toy who can’t take any time off, I made a decision before coming to the UK to study. I must see all the beautiful places in the UK in my spare time. So in addition to the tourist destinations that everyone is familiar with, I also went to some "unpopular" tourist destinations. However, although they are not very famous, many of them are popular holiday destinations among British locals. I hope to provide you with one more choice. Aberdeen is the largest city in northern Scotland and the third largest city in Scotland. It is famous for its important port in the North Sea oil fields. As a tourist destination, it is indeed not well known to students from China. In fact, there are direct trains from London, Glasgow or Edinburgh, which is quite convenient. Aberdeen is called Gray City, or Sliver City, because most of Aberdeen's old town is built of granite, and the large amount of mica in it causes the buildings to be gray-white, which is different from most of the traditional British gray-black or golden buildings. In addition, Aberdeen also has a beautiful fine sand beach, which is also a good place to watch the sunrise due to its proximity to northeast Scotland. Foodies can try the famous Aberdeen Angus Steak, and seafood is also abundant along the coast. Although this place is called Applecross, it is actually not rich in apples. Some people say it is actually Apple of My Eyes! It felt a lot more romantic instantly. It is famous because you have to pass the highest road in the UK (over 2053 feet above sea level) to get there. Although it does not sound like a high altitude, this town is very close to the seaside. In less than 3 miles, the altitude directly climbs to more than 2000 feet. The excitement and thrills can be imagined, but the road from Loch Ness to Applecross is definitely worth walking again and again. The lakes and mountains and the majestic highland scenery on the way come into view like a picture, making people forget to leave. Self-driving is the better choice and the most perfect experience. It should be noted that this place is closed many times in winter. The fish&Chips in Applecross inn is relatively famous (one of the top ten fish and chip shops in Scotland). Of course, there is also the Applecross Prawn named after the place that you can try! Loch Lomond is the largest lake in Scotland and supplies drinking water to the people of Scotland. Compared with the famous Loch Ness, I personally feel that Loch Lomond is really ignored by everyone. Its quiet lake is like a princess quietly waiting for all travelers. Loch Lomond is located at the starting point of the A82, the most beautiful road in the UK, and is also a place most easily overlooked by self-driving tourists. If you have time to drive to the highlands, please don't pass by it in a hurry, release the accelerator and take your time to experience it. The small town of Luss is one of the top ten small towns in the UK. It is built on the lake. A walk along the lake and the town can be regarded as a way to relax on the way. Self-driving travel is the most convenient. Taking the CityLink bus will also pass through Loch Lomond. There are also buses from Fort William to the town of Lars.
