Ocean Freight Forwarding Assistant NOVCC

TOTAL SOLUTION is located in the CARSON branch and is hiring a sea freight forwarding assistant. Job responsibilities include the following: 1. Customer relationship management: Communicate with customers to understand their cargo transportation needs, provide quotations, and answer related questions. Establish and maintain good customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and generate repeat business. 2. Cargo Management: Coordinates loading of cargo from customer facilities and transfer of loaded cargo to ports. This includes ensuring goods are properly packaged, documented, labeled and comply with relevant regulatory requirements. 3. Documentation and Freight Forwarding: Handle shipping-related documents such as bills of lading, shipping instructions, customs documents and insurance documents, etc. May work with freight forwarders to arrange additional services such as inland transportation, customs clearance and warehousing. 4. Logistics coordination: Cooperate with all parties in the logistics chain, including shipping companies, trucking companies, port authorities, customs personnel, and freight forwarders, etc., to ensure a smooth and timely cargo transportation process. 5. Freight Negotiation: Negotiate freight rates with shipping companies and other service providers to obtain competitive prices for customers while maintaining company profitability. 6. Compliance and regulations: Understand international shipping regulations, customs requirements and trade compliance measures to ensure compliance and avoid any legal issues. Requirements: Fluent in both Chinese and English, bachelor degree or above, willing to work and energetic. Applicants with customs declaration license and relevant experience in NOVCC operations are preferred, and preferential treatment.
