Food import company is looking for warehouse packers

Scope of responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: • Receive pick orders from supervisors and ensure that packing tasks are completed in a timely manner • Ensure that packed products comply with the order documents provided • Packed products include snacks, seasonings, herbs and dry spices in various sizes in cans, bags and cardboard boxes • Inspect products to ensure they are in good condition and packaging is not damaged • Maintain production areas clean and tidy • Ensure boxes are properly marked and properly labeled • Maintain daily production records and item transfer records Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Ability to lift, push and slide packages weighing 50 to 70 pounds • Full-time, 40 hours per week. • Ability to understand and comply with all safety requirements. • Attention to detail and good time management skills. • Willing to work in a fast-paced, organized and positive warehouse environment. • Applicants with mechanical experience will be given priority.
