My Journey to Authentic BBQ in Las Vegas
As a Chinese resident living in Las Vegas, I've always had a quest for authentic Chinese BBQ spots. There are plenty of options here, but finding the truly delicious ones isn’t easy. Today, I’d like to share some of my favorite BBQ restaurants that will surely make your taste buds dance!
1. BBQ House
BBQ House is located on South Las Vegas Boulevard. This place is famous for its char siu (叉烧) and roast duck. Every time I visit, char siu is my go-to choice. It’s perfectly caramelized on the outside and tender on the inside, priced around $10-$15. Whether paired with rice or noodles, it’s just divine!
2. Hong Kong BBQ
If you’re looking for something special, you should try Hong Kong BBQ, located near Chinatown on Spring Mountain Road. Their roast pork and white-cut chicken are classic. The soy sauce they use is unforgettable. Prices typically range from $8-$12, making it a fantastic deal!
3. Little Fat Sheep BBQ
Little Fat Sheep BBQ is one of my favorites, located in the East Las Vegas area on Alpha Road. Their honey-glazed roast duck is a must-try; the skin is crispy, and the meat is juicy, costing around $12-$18. The ambiance is also great, making it perfect for family dinners.
